Our Commitment

At UTBC Media, we want you to feel confident purchasing PPV events. We believe in fair, transparent refund practices. If something goes wrong — whether you change your mind before the event or experience technical issues — we're here to make it right.

Automatic Refund Eligibility

You are automatically eligible for a full refund in the following circumstances:
  • Pre-event cancellation: If you request a refund before the event's scheduled start time, you will receive a full refund with no questions asked.
  • Under 15 minutes watched: If you have watched less than 15 minutes of the event, you are eligible for a full refund. This gives you enough time to verify stream quality and event content without committing.
  • Event cancellation: If UTBC Media cancels an event, all purchasers will receive automatic full refunds within 5-7 business days.
  • Technical failure: If our platform experiences a technical failure preventing you from watching, we will issue a refund or provide replay access.

When Refunds Are Not Available

  • After 15 minutes of playback have been recorded on your account
  • For change of mind after the event has concluded
  • If account access was suspended due to Terms of Service violations

How to Request a Refund

There are two ways to request a refund:

Option 1 — Through your account

Go to Account → Purchases, find the event, and click "Refund." You'll be guided through a short form to submit your request.

Option 2 — Contact support

Email info@utbcmedia.com with your order details and reason for the refund request.

Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 1-3 business days. Once processed, funds typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Promoter Events

For events produced by third-party promoters on our platform, the same refund policy applies. UTBC Media processes all refunds directly — you do not need to contact the promoter. In cases of promoter-caused cancellations or issues, UTBC Media will ensure all affected purchasers are made whole.

Disputes

If you believe your refund request was incorrectly denied, you may escalate by emailing info@utbcmedia.com with "Refund Dispute" in the subject line. We will review your case within 3 business days and respond with our determination.
